Blah Blah Blah... This is what the word of God means to the person who does not have ears to hear.
Blah Blah Blah... This is the impact of the word of God on the person who does not receive it and act on it by faith.
I watch, as the years go by, and people become less and less receptive and responsive to the word of God. I watch as their hearts harden and their eyes glaze over and their ears grow shut. I watch as they give no more attention, honor or faith to the word of God than they do to BLAH BLAH BLAH.
The word of God. Once you have heard it as Blah Blah Blah, you cannot see the new vistas it reveals; you cannot hear its call to ascend the next mountain; you cannot lay hold of the deliverance it promises you.
Once you find that your inner man is not hearing the overtures of heaven, you need to seek God desperately, or the Blah Blah Blah response will grow stronger, until it completely evacuates the soul of any and all faith response.

EARS TO HEAR
Matthew 13:15
(15) For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
Revelation 3:22
(22) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
(also... 2:7, 11, 17, 29; 3:6, 13,22).
Revelation 13:9
(9) If any man have an ear, let him hear.
HEARING PLUS FAITH
Hebrews 4:1-2
(1) Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
(2) For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
James 1:21-22
(21) Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
(22) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
HARDENED AGAINST GOD
Acts 7:51

(7) Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

(4) And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
