03/27/13 THE HIGH COST OF MOVING AWAY FROM GOD

My observation...
When a person moves away from God, they need a more intense reminder of God's love, His judgment, His justice, His mercy.
The further from God the person moves, the more resistant they become to any reminder concerning God.

This is why it takes the miracle working grace of God to restore a person who has turned away. We will either live by the sinful/carnal standards of fallen man or we will live by the redemptive standards of the Redeemer.

But remember, God enables us to make our choice; therefore, "Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon." (Is. 55:6-7)
