08/01/13 ONLY TWO MANIFESTOS
All of us come under the influence of some thorough and far reaching plan. These plans usually come from human attempts to govern or rule nations, such as Nimrod, Sargon, Ramses, Cyrus, Darius, Alexander, Hannibal, Julius Caesar, Constantine, Muhammad, Charlemagne, Genghis Khan, William the Conqueror, Machiavelli, Gandhi, Stalin, Lenin, Hitler. Obviously I have left out some of the most important leaders of world history (including Christian and American leaders), but all of these world leaders had more in mind than just controlling the people of their day; they wanted to set a course for others to follow and/or rule the world.
Plans for world domination are set forth in documents, of which one type is known as a Manifesto (a public declaration of policy and aims, esp. one issued before an election by a political party or candidate). In fact, there are only two fundamental agendas or manifestos, from which all other plans originate. The first is God's plan, and the revelation of His plan to rule in the lives of men, and the other is Satan's plan to thwart God's plan. God will see His plan come to fulfillment and all other plans will fail.
The kingdoms of this world sometimes include elements from the plan of God, in fact, anything that is good springs from God's revelation. However, men are merely the servants, instruments used by either God or Satan. Those who choose to be instruments, servants of God have entered into a relationship with Him through faith in Christ.
Any agenda that is not subject to God is in conflict with God. In this day of "wild confusion," we should submit to the God who has all knowledge, all wisdom, all power and all grace. He knows the end from the beginning and He will make all kingdoms of the world bow before Him. Believe in and follow Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God.
