08/14/13 WHOOSH... AS THE WORLD GOES BY

We are living in a time when the telling of truth is interpreted as hate speech and when the retelling of history is called bigotry.

The most truthful and accurate record of all time is the Bible, yet people who do not understand it, people who do not even read it are attacking it, changing it and condemning the people who believe it, love it, live by it.

I sit here in my office writing this and the Bible verses which address this issue are just bombarding my mind. YET, the world rushes by, trying to distance itself from the light that condemns their sins.

The good news is not that God condemns us and our sins, but rather that God will save us from our sins, giving us power to conquer our temptations rather than be conquered by them, and He will take us to live with Him forever... Whoosh, as the world rushes by.
