09/12/13 AMERICAN EXCEPTIONALISM

09/12/13 AMERICAN EXCEPTIONALISM

American Exceptionalism refers to America as a nation, based on the fundamental and unique principles upon which we were built; it does not refer to individuals or races. Let Putin put that in his peace pipe and smoke it.

After my post, my friend DEG and I share some more thoughts.

I agree with you David but it was just 4 years ago that "President" Obama made a speech saying that there was no American Exceptionalism suggesting the idea that the concepts which shaped our country from its very infancy were non existent, he went on in the speech to the world that we were only as good as everyone else. So along with his weak leadership of the United States his words come back to bite him in the but. No one respects us because they know that this president has no back bone. He thinks that he can intimidate anyone with a speech. Well people are now challenging his hollow threats as they feel that this "President" only gives lip service to military might and does not have the back bone to back up his words. He should learn to keep his mouth shut if he has no intentions of backing his words up. I am sure that we will hear yet another speech, drawing more red lines that will never be acted upon tonight from Obama regarding the New York Times Op-Ed written by President Putin blemishing the reputation of this "President" and worse yet our once great nation. If we want our reputation back and the respect from the world community again we need to get these weak liberals out of office and put someone in who will back up their words and threats with swift decisive action instead of going on apology tours and diminishing respect for our nation and military. Elections have consequences and now we have Russian President Putin publically calling our President out embarrassing him in the New York Times because of it. You would never have seen this kind of disrespect with President Reagan in the White House.

I agree. Hussein is a contradiction in terms and he does more harm when he speaks truth than he does good. My point is, as I am sure you know, that America is EXCEPTIONAL, regardless of the message Hussein proclaimd.

I might even say, America has been exceptional, but since we have been taking a path that leads away from God, we are going to lose that exceptionalism. Only 7 years after the worst attack by America's enemies this country voted in a man who is
a lover of Islam,
a lover of Socialism,
a racist and
the most active manipulator of the governmental system ever.
A man who hates basic Christian concepts.
A man who has used his position to promote racial injustice.

A man who cries about the killing of a few hundred children, when it serves his purpose, yet remains silent and still when our own people are murdered in service to their country.
A man who does not raise an eyebrow when thousands of children are killed by his Muslim friends, and seeks to force Christians in America to pay for the murder of 3500 children a day, every day.
A man who has allowed the burning of Bibles in our military and has supported the removal of Jesus from the language of military chaplains.
A man who has covered for the violence of Islamic terrorism in our military.

America is losing its exceptionalism, because America is abandoning our fundamental principles and the fear of the Living God, the God of the Bible (not the false god of the Koran).

I agree we are becoming more like "New Sodom", in every sense of the word, and less a country of God fearing people who hold strong to the morals and convictions which were present in the lives of the framers of our Constitution. We should change our nations name to 'The Divided States of New Sodom" as we are becoming a terribly divided Nation which does not recognize our Constitutional laws as they are written but rather we disregard the laws that we disagree with, from the top Law Enforcement Officer of the Nation down in favor of doing what feels good. Being a Christian in todays Army is difficult as more and more restrictions are being imposed on our religious beliefs. Today you can not say a prayer invoking the name of Christ in a Government National Cemetery because it may offend some Atheist or agnostic who lives 3,000 miles away on the other side of the Nation. You can not openly wear a Cross to express your faith in uniform as it is offensive to someone else yet Muslims are allowed to wear their Religious Head dress and allowed time to pray 5 times daily, all the while you can not say a prayer with Christ in it as a Group of Soldiers before embarking on a Battle out of fear of offending someone who does not believe or have faith. Personally I do not see why Christians are a part of our Military now and continue to fight for all of our Governments faithless policies and beliefs. I wish that all Christians would come to their senses and leave our Military and let the heathens, atheists and agnostics defend this country... Oh wait a minute I forgot that only less than 8 percent of our Nations Military are non-believers or followers of other faiths, with less than 1% claiming to be Atheists, while 92% are of Christian Faith. It appears that Atheists and agnostics only like to complain about things as opposed to serving our nation to protect the very things on which they anchor their views and abuse the constitutional rights which they claim to advocate.
