09/16/13 HIS FAITHFULNESS IS NOT THE QUESTION

As long as I control the conditions, I would never let my grandchild fall victim to an impending danger. As long as he/she obeys me he will be safe and secure.

God has authority over all conditions, but He allows us to either believe Him or leave Him. When we choose our own way, we refuse His way. Following Him, our relationship and condition is secure, but turning from Him, our failure is sure.

The promise is, He will never leave nor forsake us, which is not a promise that we will not leave or forsake Him. I can trust Him to go with me, wherever He leads me.

Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy (Jude 1:24).
