09/19/13 A STORY AND A POINT

09/19/13 A STORY AND A POINT

Let me tell you a story I remember from my youth. There was a young man who worked in the resort industry. He was not perfect, but his moral standards did not allow him to own or look at girly magazines. He would even walk away when they were brought out by his friends.

He sometimes worked with family members in their businesses. On one occasion there were some of these filthy magazines stowed away on the premises of the business. Though the young man never gave anyone reason to think he used pornography, he was openly blamed by a relative for having it and hiding it at work. This hurt the young man greatly because he loved and respected his relative, who was otherwise an honorable and fair man, and because it was totally against the young man's principles.

BUT HERE IS THE KICKER.

The actual man who had hidden the pornography was working closely with the business owner. So, what is the big deal? The big deal is that the guilty worker was a known pedophile, who had been in trouble with the law for having incestuous relations with his own daughter. This pervert was not secretive about his prurient activities, yet the owner and relative to the young man, readily blamed the innocent party and ignored the real culprit.

WHAT IS MY POINT?

The same is taking place in society today. People will excuse the perverse behavior, policies and programs of the obvious offenders of common decency, yet attack the people who try to uphold a responsible standard.

People are constantly excusing and ignoring the offenses of the public school system, which violate children, families and morality, yet they are quick to stand with the anti-Bible crowd in resistance to home schooling and Christian education.

So, I am not surprised when, otherwise good people, defend the wicked programs of the public schools and attack Christians, who are doing all they can to raise their children in a way that pleases God.

There are activities and programs being presented and promoted in the public school that are so vile and offensive that I won't even tell you about them. Our government, our public schools are laden with perverts and hardly anyone is willing to point out that the emperor is without any decency.
