The Muslim attack in Kenya was deliberately targeting Christians. Christians do not target others for murder, in fact, Christians do not murder.
"WAIT," you cry, "What about the inquisitions and other atrocities or the military actions that have been mounted by western nations?"
NO, whoever did the killing in religious wars were not following Jesus, obeying Jesus; aligning with Christian beliefs, practices or history. Being Christian is being a person who turns from sin by trusting Christ and follows Christ.
The Roman religion has killed Muslims and Jews and Bible believing Christians, so, NO, CATHOLICISM DOES NOT QUALIFY AS CHRISTIAN. And, there have been PROTESTANTS who killed, erroneously, "in the name of God." All are wrong.
ALSO, do not confuse the actions of the State with the actions of the true Church. God has given the State the sword of steel to protect the righteous and punish the wicked (Ro. 13:3-4). The legitimate acts of a government are assigned by God to the State, not to Christians and the Church.
