10/12/13 ONLY YOU DECIDE FOR YOU
I stood on the dock one day as rescue workers tried to breathe life back into the earthly remains of a drowning victim. The family stood near by, screaming and crying for someone to do save their loved one. But he was gone, and he was not coming back.
We can go through the same torment as we try everything we know to bring a soul into a living relationship with Christ. But God does not give us the power to impart life to those who will not receive Him. It is a personal choice, not only to receive forgiveness and to live in heaven when we die, but we must decide to either surrender ourselves to Christ as Lord or resist Him. As many as received Him, to them gave He the power to become the sons of God.
No matter how we cry, plead, weep and wail, the unrepentant person will only be the shell of a human being, because their soul is already dead in sins and trespasses. All that awaits them is the separation of their soul from their body, ending any possibility that they will ever humble themselves and call on the name of the Lord.
Do not wait, because the longer you wait, the less chance you will call. But, whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
My soul is sick as I plead in behalf of those who are refusing to humble themselves and yield to the will of God. To them I am as a mad man. Oh my friend, my loved one, turn now, while He is calling you. If you do not sense the pangs of conviction, cry out and ask God to have mercy on you before it is everlasting too late.
