11/25/13 PREVIEW OF COMING STRONGMAN
Now, here is how it is going to work, maybe not today, or even tomorrow, but at some point a political strongman will come on the scene and do all of the wrong things (according to God) and he will still be successful. THIS will then serve as proof positive that the political strongman is RIGHT, and God is wrong.
NO, I do not believe Obama is that political strongman, though he is a prototype. We can see how a person can manipulate society and lead a nation completely away from its roots and commitments.
I believe Obama has acted in opposition to the well being of the free world by entering into a deal with his Iranian brothers. YET, it might work out (at least for a while or at least to a degree). If so, this will give fuel to those who want to throw off the fetters of Biblical authority and Divine rule.
At the appointed time, even Israel will be bamboozled into a treaty with the coming Beast of Revelation (the coming anti-Christ). The world will think that the political strongman (the Beast) will lead the world into peace and prosperity. It will take an eruption of the festering sore of the revived Roman empire before Israel finally realizes its mistake and then finally turns to Messiah.
Remember, the world will be deluded; it will claim peace just before bloody chaos engulfs the globe; it will turn its anger against the God of heaven and mount a futile resistance to the coming Messiah.
Psalms 2:1-12
(1) Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
(2) The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
(3) Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
(4) He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
(5) Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
(6) Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
(7) I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
(8) Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
(9) Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
(10) Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
(11) Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
(12) Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
