Don't surrender to failure or settle for mediocrity.
Don't give in to underachieving.
Don't wait for success to come to you.
Find God's course;
Follow His leading;
Fulfill His calling.
Dream His dream, Live His vision.
Don't fall victim to life's circumstances, don't blame others for your disappointments.
Material gain does not measure a worthy life.
Don't amble and meander along life's pathway.
Do God's work with your might, do it by faith and do it with a right disposition.
Let your gentleness be seen by all those around you.
Ecclesiastes 9:10
(10) Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
DLG note... The affairs of this life must be dealt with only in this life. In the words of Paul,
Ephesians 5:16
(16) Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
DLG note... As we deal with the affairs of this life, we must deal with them to our best ability. After our last breath in this world, our opportunities are gone.
Colossians 3:23
(23) And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
DLG note... The man/woman of faith understands that nothing happens by chance nor strictly by the whim of evil men. Remember, Paul also said,
Romans 8:28
(28) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
DLG note... Not only should we be aware that our situation is ordered by God, we should order our response to glorify God to a watching world.
Philippians 4:4-7
(4) Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
(5) Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
(6) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
(7) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
DLG note... Joy should be the hallmark of Christians, not complaining and moaning. Our, "moderation" should read, "forebearance" or "gentleness." There is very little Christian grace seen in this world. Don't reflect the worlds anger, disappointment, resentment, frustration. We should be men and women of prayer, praise and peace.
If we are saturated with these truths, we will display God's design for greatness and 2013 will be a year of success.

(8) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
(9) Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
