I am afraid that the great majority of people in the western world who have taken the first steps of faith, who have experienced the "first love" that comes with salvation, have been duped into thinking they can wait for a more convenient time, a more favorable season, to obey Christ, to take up their cross daily, to deny themselves and follow Him fully.

All of history, the experiences of Christians throughout the hostile regions of the world today refute such a distorted view of Christianity.
