02/11/13 ALL THAT IS LEFT

02/11/13 ALL THAT IS LEFT

IF, there is a God (and there is), and if we have willfully sinned against Him (and we have), and if our sins separate us from God (and they do), and if God wants to reconcile us to Himself (and He does).

THEN, it is reasonable that He would launch a rescue mission (which He did), and reveal His offer of salvation to us (which he has), and enable us to respond to His plan (which He does).

SO, God has done everything necessary to provide salvation from sin and separation. All that we must do to receive it, is "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and (we) shall be saved." It begins with the New Birth and then we grow, as babes in Christ. This is why Jesus said, "You must be born again."

Consider This...
A man who is drowning in the sea does not have to understand ship building, navigation or rope making, in order to be saved from a watery grave. All he has to do is take hold of the lifeline when it is thrown to him from the rescue vessel, which sought him and found him, lost at sea. As long as the rescued man stays aboard the rescue vessel, he is safe and secure.

Do not wait until you have all of your theological, religious or Biblical questions answered before you accept Christ as Savior (see my original post in this conversation). There will be time to learn after you are rescued. If you wait for all of the answers, your opportunity could pass away.
