For some people, life is tough, I mean, really tough. They get a rotten start, they are kicked and abused as they grow up, doors of opportunity always seem to be locked, dreams "turn to ashes," endeavors fail, loved ones reject them.
But remember, this life is but a breath. Regardless of how much time has been spent in misery, a saving encounter with Christ will not only rescue from sin, shame and suffering in this present world, it will give us eternal peace, purpose and power in the world to come.
Don't look on what you don't have, look on what God has for you.
