07/11/13 GODLINESS IS A GUIDING PRINCIPLE


This is based on Divine revelation, which is our ultimate authority, studies (doctrinal and biographical), observation of other people and personal experience.

Allow the principles of godliness (faith, forgiveness, kindness, patience, joy, peace) to start working early in your life, and then be faithful with each opportunity/adversity you encounter, to exercise the graces of God.

It will make each trial easier to deal with and it will accrue to a more Christ Like demeanor. Don't allow either the sinful nature or the weaknesses of the human nature to determine your response to your problems.

It is valid to ask, "What would Jesus do?" Allow the Holy Spirit to show you His will and then allow Him to enable you to walk in it.

Never be ashamed of being gracious, even if others think you are a loser.
