Living without respect for the Bible and the God of the Bible leads to futility. This is true for individuals AND nations. Billions of people are living without Christ today, but they are living in vain and in confusion.
Likewise, governments that do not acknowledge and respect the authority of the Bible are nations in collapse. According to the Bible, this is why the nations of the world will fail. In fact, as the Bible says, and as we are seeing, the nations of the world will actually join forces in resisting and rejecting the Bible and the God of the Bible.
The USA is moving quickly into this mode. There is only one God, and His book is the Holy Bible, not the Koran. According to the Bible, heaven will announce that the nations (kingdoms) of this world will ultimately become the kingdoms of the Lord and of His Christ (Re. 11:15). Christ will reign over the entire world, with His followers, for 1,000 years (Re. 20:1-5). But before that happens, the world, as we know it, will come to the edge of total destruction (Re. 4-19). Now is the time to turn to Christ and follow Him fully.
By the way, the 1,000 year reign of Christ (which could begin very shortly) is not the final victory of Christ over wickedness. It is His last bid for fallen humanity. After the 1,000 year reign of Christ there will be final rebellion (Re. 20:7-11) the fiery destruction of the world (2 Pe 3:7-9), The Great White Throne Judgment, concerned with all the sins of all sinners of all history (Re. 20:11-15), the New Heaven, New Earth and New Jerusalem and the beginning of our eternal reign with Christ (Re. 21-22).
