NOT JUSTICE, BUT LOVE
It was not in JUSTICE that God the Father looked down on man and said, "I want to save him." It was in LOVE (Jn. 3:16).
SIN DEMANDS DEATH
But in order for God to be JUST (equitable, righteous) in justifying men from their past sins (which He did by grace through faith: Ro. 3:24-26; Ep. 2:8), there had to be death, because God said, "the wages of sin is death" (Ro. 6:23), and all men have sinned (Ro. 3:23).
GOD'S SACRIFICE FOR YOU
Since God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked (Ez. 18:31-32; 1 Tm. 2:4; 2 Pe. 3:9), God gave His Son to satisfy the demands of justice (1 Jn. 4:9-10) and His Son, Jesus, gave Himself to die on the cross so that we might live righteously and live forever (2 Co. 5:14-15; Ep. 5:2; Ti. 2:14; 1 Pe. 2:24, 3:18; 1 Jn. 2:1-2).
GOD LOVED THE WHOLE WORLD
John 3:16
(16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

(25) Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
(26) To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

GOD DESIRES LIFE, NOT DEATH FOR ALL MEN
Ezekiel 33:11

(9) In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
(10) Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
2 Corinthians 5:14-15
(14) For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
(15) And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
Ephesians 5:2
(2) And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

1 Peter 3:18
(18) For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
1 John 2:1-2

(2) And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
