12/09/13 WHICH WOULD YOU RATHER HAVE?

12/09/13 WHICH WOULD YOU RATHER HAVE?

A salvation that delivers you from the penalty of sin but does not deliver you from the pollution and power of sin,
or
A salvation that delivers you from the penalty, the power and the pollution of sin?

If you want a salvation that does not deliver from all sin, you will not find it in Christ.
If you want a defeatist, sinning religion, you will have no problem finding people who agree with you.

The good news is, Jesus not only died and rose again to save His people from the penalty of sin, the power of sin and the pollution of sin, He lives and makes intercession for us that we might be saved to the uttermost (He. 7:25).

Jesus did not come, in order to leave us in our sins, but to save us from our sins.

Think about it; Does God want you to stop sinning? Does God have power to keep you from sinning? OF COURSE HE DOES.

Does the Bible actually say that His blood does not cleanse from all sin? Does the Bible actually say that His Spirit does not set us free from the law of sin and death? Does the Bible actually say God does not make an escape from all temptation and that he will not deliver us from the evil one? Does the Bible actually say that sin is greater than grace or that God does not give us the power to overcome the world, the flesh and the devil? OF COURSE IT DOES NOT.

God gave His Son to save us from our sins, not in our sins or with our sins. If you want salvation, deliverance from the tyranny of sin, accept it as the free gift He offers. Christ is the Gift that keeps on giving.
