02/10/13 Technologically Challenged and Spiritually Challenged.
Most of us know very intelligent, well educated people who readily admit that they are technologically challenged when it comes to computing, wifi-ing, internet-ing. Their problem is not that they are intellectually incompetent, but they have a MENTAL BLOCK, and they think that they cannot learn the principles of electronic communication, and therefore they cannot.
LIKEWISE, there are people who have a SPIRITUAL BLOCK, which keeps them from being holy, even as God is holy, in spite of what God has revealed in His word and provided through the atonement of Christ. They have succumbed to the notion that they cannot be made pure and live a life of righteousness, and therefore they cannot.
Technology has to do with natural acumen, whereas Holiness of heart and life has to do with spiritual acumen. In both cases the incompetence is self imposed and in both cases the change comes when they quit believing that they are unable to succeed.
Concerning holiness, Christians need to believe God's word rather than the negative interpretations that Satan foists on them.
