05/25/13 BOLD LOVE
The problem is not that there is an elephant in the room, the problem is that there is a herd (parade, memory) of elephants in the room, trampling down everything and everyone in its path. Political Correctness, Social Politeness, Misguided Pluralism, Intolerant Tolerance are the excuses people use when they will not acknowledge and address the obvious sins of society.
By the way, "Everyone gets along" is another way of saying that the truly tolerant do not say or do anything that upsets the intolerant. As long as Christianity shuts up and bows down before every false group that comes along, there will be appear to be momentary peace... at least until those errant philosophies and religions of the world decide to oppress Christianity further, and further and further, until they have pressed it into oblivion.
There is no such thing as a cowardly Christian, but neither is there any such thing as a hateful, spiteful, vengeful Christian. Christians must stand up and speak up... BUT... it must be in the spirit and power of love, perfect love. Being faithful to the message and the spirit of the gospel will not win the world to Christ, but it will demonstrate the saving grace of God in the one who speaks the truth in love and it will give witness to those who are without Christ and without hope in this present evil world.

Ephesians 4:11-15
(11) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
(12) For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
(13) Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
(14) That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
(15) But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
