09/12/13 AMERICA, THE BEAUTIFUL... MEMORY
Michelle Obama started her husbands Presidency by saying that it was the first time in her adult life she had ever been proud of her country. I was sickened by her warped view of America. There have been times I have not been proud of specific actions taken by my country, but I have never been ashamed of America, even with its flaws. However, king Hussein is about to change all of that. I still look back in awe at the greatness and accomplishment of the greatest country that has ever existed on the face of the earth, but I think I am seeing that era come to a close.
Okay, maybe it is not over yet. Only God really knows. If this is not the end, it is a dress rehearsal for the final act of the USA.
This does not surprise me, because it has always seemed that America must somehow lose its position of importance before the end time events of the Bible. The Bible mentions great nations by name or region, in the end times passages, such as; Russia, Turkey, Afghanistan, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, present day Palestine, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Libya, far eastern nations (China? India? Pakistan?), the revived Roman Empire (European Union) and Israel. But America is absent, probably because America is a non-player on the world scene. Thanks to America's rejection of God and His word, and the kind of leadership given by king Hussein.
I have learned some things watching Hussein's administration. It has shown me how quickly America can become a byword among the nations. Also, I often wondered how Hitler could mesmerize the German people with his voice and speeches. I have watched the same thing happen with Hussein.
One final thought here. The gainsayers, both domestic and abroad, who have been our fault finding allies may not be able to mock and criticize America much longer. We are going the way of other failed nations. Too bad, because then there will be no nation left to save their bacon when the big bad wolf comes after them in the future.
Trust me, I say this with much regret.
