11/21/13 TAKE THE HIGHER ROAD

I have written several things lately, about the dangers of parenting without being a follower of Christ. Parents, not only should you not physically assault your child or use violent punishment, you should not yell at them, demean them, constantly fuss at them, scowl at them.

In fact, these words from Ephesians are applicable to parent/child relationships.
Ephesians 4:30-32
(30) And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
(31) Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
(32) And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
