10/11/13 TRUTH IS THE LITMUS TEST
Whatever political party you support, you need to realize 3 things.
1- There are well intentioned and highly moral people as well as crooked and immoral people people in the Democratic, Republican and Independent political parties.
2- No political party has all the right answers, or does the right thing all of the time.
3- Christians must submit to the authority of God and His word (the Holy Bible), rather than the authority and views of political parties.
THEREFORE, it is incumbent upon Christians to know the Biblical position on the various political issues, and readily choose against any platform or plank that is not aligned with the revelation of God and the nature of Christ, as revealed in the Bible.
REMEMBER, everything good about this country (the greatest in the history of the world) was derived from the Christian Scriptures and Christian morality, so the most patriotic thing you can do is follow in the steps of those who built a nation on the principles of the God of the Bible.
Keep In Mind...
Do not confuse the errant principles of your opponent with your opponent. You can disagree with your opponent without hating your opponent. It is not hatred to recognize when your opponent is the enemy of that which is good (Christian and Biblical).
When it comes to being loyal to leadership, NO human leader should be followed if he/she is promoting an anti-Christian, anti-Bible, anti-Christ agenda. The candidate can be a non-Christian, but he/she must not lead against fundamental Christian truth. Our first and final loyalty is to Christ.
